If you've ever made the mistake of trying to do too much too soon at the gym you'll love this tongue-in-cheek account of one week with a personal trainer Adonis...
Just remember to take it easy when you start to exercise...
If you are within striking distance of Edinburgh this weekend, why not have some fun and get some exercise by taking part in The Great Scottish Santa Run?
Thousands of people in Santa suits will run, skip, jog or walk the 1.5 km circuit around Princes Street Gardens in the city on Sunday 16th December to raise money for the charity When you Wish Upon a Star, which is dedicated to making the wishes of seriously ill children come true.
£10 for adults and £5 for children buys a Santa suit (for adults) or an elf hat (for children) to run in and keep and also provides a donation for the charity which is hoping to raise £25,000 from the event.
For more info and to see similar events in the rest of the UK see the website at http://www.thesantarun.org.uk/
Actually you don't need any advice from me other than to do the opposite of the Anti-Health Plan. There's a serious message behind this funny video. See how many of your own habits you can spot in it.

Thought it was time for fun
On my birthday card last week (thanks Jean Ann) - some "Rules of Dieting"
Never weigh more than your fridge
Blame any weight gain on faulty scales or heavy clothes
Eat a balanced diet - hold a donut in each hand
Eat broken cookies as all the calories have leaked out
and
Fatten up your friends - it will make you look thinner
I liked this bathroom scales picture I came across today on Aha! Jokes (Now you know who's been surfing instead of writing the next No More Diets newsletter!)
Actually if scales started giving out verbal instructions too it might help :)
Great weight loss advice from Cliff Latham's Healthy E-Blast newsletter this week, with tongue in cheek of course, but it will help you lose weight if you follow it:-
ITALIAN PASTA DIET – IT REALLY WORKS !!
You will lose weight!
