I just read about this book which looks quite interesting. (Anyone read it already?) It is a diet plan which just involves cutting out flour (all types) and sugar from your diet to lose weight.
Now you can quickly see that this will eliminate lots of junk food including cakes, cookies, sweets, desserts, soda, syrup, jam and foods which tend to bulk you out such as bagels and bread. It will take away all those foods which are covered in breadcrumbs and fried too.
I can see it could work if you are someone who is able to cut foods from your diet without developing strong cravings for them as a result.
I prefer the more moderate approach and the gradual changing of habits which I have found to be more succesful with my clients but I still think this plan sounds like it has some merits if you are especially looking to follow a diet.
